I’m currently working in a support industry where I saw many cases related to Murphy’s Law. Unable to do anything about it, I helped built one of our best notebooks. It has a powerful Pentium-M processor, with special circuits built around not only will give a speed increment but also reduce the heat to many factors. Our development team taken all into consideration and has produced one of the best notebooks in 2005. Unfortunately, customer still found fault with it, despite of what we have help built.
So I learned my lesson. No matter how good a product is, no matter how great it is, somehow in real world, problems would rear its ugly head despite of passing the most stringent test in the lab.
So when someone asked me how much I believed in Murphy’s Law, I’d say it’s 110%!
