Movie Review: The Curious Case of Benjamin Button 1

Benjamin Button

This movie should be renamed to The Sad Case of Benjamin Button. Or even The Tragic Case of Benjamin Button. Aside from the fact that it deviated a lot from the short story, this is a very sad movie. The story will touch you and you will cry. You will be sobbing so much that you lost touch of what the show is trying to say in the first place.

I was just joking.

This movie will not make you cry but it will certainly touch you like it did with other sad movie. You will feel pity for Benjamin not because for what he did but because for what he was.

Movie Review: Valkyrie 0

Valkyrie

A Tom Cruise movie always fascinated me. From his being a police officer being chased down for a crime that he didn’t commit, to a jet fighter pilot to even a race car driver, Tom has always made movies that are so watchable that you tend to love him, even though the movie is bad.

Anyone cared to remember War of the Worlds?

Valkyrie could be good if they include a lot of WWII action into it. However, I understand the Bryan’s direction into making this a biography and putting a lot of realism into it it but somehow this is what makes movie in the first place. Why go to a movie if you watch about the real history? You might as well watch the History Channel and learn all about Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg.

Movie Review: Bride Wars 0

Bride Wars

Alright, I believe you guys at one point in your life have watched Princess Diaries. While this humble sweet girl ultimately becomes the ruler of Genova, she started off from a humble beginning. This is sort of translated to this part of the movie. While fan of Anne Hathaway should definitely catch this movie, this is no mean a very good movie. You might ask yourself whether do you want to watch the movie because your girlfriend/wife asking you to or you just want to watch Anne Hathaway.

Movie Review: Underworld – Rise of the Lycans 2

Underworld: Rise of the Lycans

If you have the love for the first two movies, then you should stop watching this show. The first two movies were made so well that I had to collect the DVD since plot was exciting and it tells a different perspective into vampires and werewolves lore.

This story wouldn’t be so bad if the action were properly choreographed. Instead, we have badly camera angle in the midst of the chaotic battle to make the viewer feel they are really in the middle of a war. Viewers may want as much realism as possible but there’s got to be a limit to make the movie watchable. An immersion is more like it but too much of it leaves my head spinning.

More Offensive Measures 1

You know, sometimes people just don’t know how to communicate. Maybe it’s the way they communicate or their brain just got fried from getting some massive information from me (you’ll see why later). This minimally exceptional girl (MEG) added me on our internal communication software the other day and I have no idea what she wants. Since some chick added me to their list, I might as well take the advantage. Today is the first day she talked to me:

Meg: “Hi.”
Me: “Hi.”
Meg: “Please review this…. <a bunch of long winded email about customer’s tragic drama about her mother in law giving her a hard time. Well you know the idea…> (I would have assume she copied 5 pages of email into a single MSN log, because it took me nearly 30 minutes to scroll through the whole thing).
Me: “Okay. So how can I help you with this?”
Meg: “Please review this through your case log and call the customer.”
