10 Advantages of using Hunter
1. You have your own personal tank.
2. You will do as much damage as the mage next to you.
3. You have traps to freeze, slow, burn or mass burning the whole mob.
4. Since your pet does the tanking, you have cheap upkeep (provided if you don’t die).
5. You can freeze trap one, pet tank one and hold one to yourself. That’s 3 mob at a time. How cool is that?
6. Your pets can learn additional skills to maximize its damage and defense.
7. It is a fun class if you suddenly decided to play Survivor-specced.
8. The fastest class to level.
9. The most laid back class because there’s a high margin of error (you get to Feign Death to avoid combat).
10. 2 AOEs at the same time! Explosive trap and volley. Even a mage can’t do that.

10 Disadvantages of using Hunter:
1. You’ll be called a huntard (retard hunter).
2. At level 70, you get less & less invites unless you’re specced with survivor (they want you for your traps).
3. At raiding, your pet suck, so you need to micro manage them.
4. Even in PVP, your pet is a mere annoyance, nothing really to do real damage except interrupting spells.
5. You will have medium-to-high upkeep as repairing mails will set you back nearly 5-15g per raid (if you die a lot).
6. Arrows are cheap only if you’re earning money.
7. Easy to play, hard to master especially when you’re going to learn about shot rotation.
8. Your extra 30% speed of cheetah aspect may be great but the daze is a sad.
9. People easily blame you if a pull goes bad or there’s a wipe.
10. A lot of kiting will sprain your wrist easily. You will need a medical alert bracelets.
