Taking Kids off Cigarettes
You want to know how to get your kids off cigarette? Introduce them something that will relieve of their stress. You guys have been pumping them with tuitions, extra-curricular activities and even drowning them with homeworks. I tell you man, with the amount of weight of the textbooks these kids to carry to school, I’m not surprise why they even smoke.
Grand Theft Auto series is a phenomenon to the gaming world. While some may perceive it nothing more than a violent gaming, it actually imitates one of life’s most realistic ways of life of crime. And I had my chance to test them last night and I had to say, I really have some fun. You get to go behind the wheels and start ramming innocent bystanders. Got a gun? Start shooting them and let the police surround you. I got up to 4 star of wanted rating before I was wasted by a SWAT sneaking up behind me with a shot gun.
Just too bad you can’t own any cat condo at the moment but that’s beside the point.
So if you really want your kids to actually take off the stress, plan their video game time and let them play nothing but Grand Theft Auto 4 (if you own a Playstation 3). I think to those parents who hesitate whether to let their play this, I strongly urge you to reconsider. Why? At least they’d get exposed to violence at an early age. They will learn the meaning of death if you screw around with the police. Dealing with the underworld will always get you in trouble and those sorts of stuff. I don’t see myself getting all violence from that much DOOM or Quake that I spent my sleepless nights on. Oh, and at least they will get stress reliever in an early age. That should be a big bonus to keep them off the cigarettes.
p/s: I wish I can do this to my boss. Ram him with the car several times and then some shotgun right in the face. If only I can do that in the real life. By the way, I’m not paid by Rockstar to actually promote this game. It is that good and if you’re unconvinced, I suggest you take a trip down to your local video game store and have a go at that game.
hahah~~ your way of analogy is kinda funny… you got some points here… but I am not too sure that will work for ALL kids consider there are lots of campus shooting happened in the states; where guns access is also easier than anywhere else lah….
though, I was Quake fans when I was young
