Anything Can Go Wrong

Unlike a psoriasis treatment, my days are spent by lying down on the bed 90% of the time. And trust me, with that time around you practically can’t do much. I can’t use the computer (I got to sit down) and the most comfortable way is either lie on my back or lie on my chest.

Well, at least lying on my chest, I get to assembly some of these toys that have been lying dormant in my closet for too long. I’m just too lazy to set up a photoshoot for them but as for now, I’m just too lazy to set up a nice background with white sheet, so I shoot by putting it near my window and let you guys enjoy it.

You want to know what’s nuts? Today I finally can sit properly and got myself into a World of Warcraft game when I suddenly saw this…

The game was reported to have 1500 people or more at that particular point of time at the same place. Now you can just imagine the lag that we through with that place and it’s a surprise how Blizzard’s server can actually handle that many players at once.

Alright, surprise is over, time to get into my bedding.

Although World of Warcraft is a great game, it has been polluted these days with newbies asking for money. The worst ones just took the money and never even bother thanking you. Problem these days is that there are more new players than ever before and they simply never learned some WOW-etiquette.

As much as I would like to bash their heads with teak outdoor furnitures, I always believe that people will learn from mistake and hope this post will serve as a guideline for them to play well in the game.

1. Never ever ask for money. Old players hate new players that asked for money for a simple fact that we came from an era where gold is nearly impossible to earn. A single gold is huge money to us back then and therefore it is very precious to us. When some low level hunter come asking for 5 gold and will repay back in later date is usually taken very lightly.

2. Improve your English. Don’t just type ‘Wheres headorf’ and expecting people to understand what you are talking about. The players are not mind readers and therefore some will shoo you off the moment you make this kind of mistake. Be courteous and answer in kind and people will definitely take their time to answer you. Take time to type properly and if you did some typo, retype again stating with an apology: ‘Sorry, where’s Herod?’.

Man it suck when you’re unable to play World of Warcraft. My condition is in a way that gave me trouble sitting for a long period of time. To play WOW properly, you need at least 4-5 hours invested to get most of it. So I was out of commission when some of my guild buddies actually rang me up asking me when I can go in again.

However, practically the house could be so hot sometimes that it impeded me from playing. Perhaps I need good air purifiers? Think not as I still need time to recover.

My character hardly moved 2 weeks ago and most of friends that I made 3 weeks ago already reached the level caps. They were so nice that they even offered to help me to do some quest that I have trouble doing. I’m touched but I hardly play more than 30 minutes per session. Some of them understood my plight and always ask me how I’m doing every time they see me online.

Goes to show how great a good gaming community is.

The other day I caught this small film Gone Baby Gone starring Casey Affleck (Ben Affleck’s younger brother, who directed the movie) and Michelle Monaghan. It includes super stars like Ed Harris and Morgan Freeman. The movie has a very surprising ending but somehow I just hate the way Casey acted. It made Ben Affleck looked much better than his younger brother.

No, this post is not about the movie. The main actor suck beyond comprehension and I never understood why some them actually gave good review about this show. He’s practically a twat in the movie and it was so unforgiving to have Michelle appeared beside him.

No, this post is about the hottie that appeared beside the idiot. Yes, I’m talking about Michelle Monaghan. Aside from Gone Baby Gone, she appeared beside Charlize Theron in North Country (one of the hottie wife, Sherry working in the mine) and MI3 (the gal that marries Tom Cruise). I realized she was in MI3 but I practically lost her in North Country. Heck, I never even realize she was in Mr. and Mrs. Smith and Heartbreak Kid! Note to myself: Time to go find the DVDs.

She has that unique beauty that grabs your attention out of nowhere, now that she’s in the Hollywood limelight. I realize she has that kind of beauty like Parker Posey. Great looking gal practically unknown until she appeared in a blockbuster all in a sudden. To those of you who have short term memory loss, Parker Posey appeared as Kitty in Supermn Returns.
