I’m A Papa
Shocking as it may be, Yuhanis told me that she was pregnant with my child. I was shocked.
Roughly about a month ago, I was having a bad day. Been given a bad review and having a bad day with my co-worker, I just drank in a local discotheque. She knew that she would not be allowed in the disco but she did a makeover. She took off her tudung and wore clothes like a normal girl. She’s was pretty fair, so the bouncer guess she was a Chinese mix.
She followed me and even tried to get me to sober. I cried that night and everything was a blur. The next day I realized I was in the same bed with her in her rented apartment. I’m not sure what happened but we sheepishly grinned as I took off.
I met her occasionally for lunch but I never realized anything until she actually puked when we’re having dinner. A quick test on the pregnancy kit reveals that she’s having a baby. Aside from thinking of getting baby carriage and maternity clothes, most dreaded thing is that she’s Malay and I’m Chinese. If I were to marry her, means I got to convert to become a Muslim.
And I might even have to circumcise.
Problem now is that I felt even guiltier that she came back feeling very tired on the new burden but she didn’t even ask me to marry her or anything. She would stroke her stomach and I feel bad about it.
Should I marry her or ask her to do an abortion?
What is tomorrow’s date again, liao?
it’s easy to say ‘take up the responsibility’ but there are many things that comes to mind and its not that simple. Can’t tell you what to do, but i hope you’ll make the best decision for both you and her and the baby.
