You know, once in a while, there will be a movie released that was so good that nobody knows about it. Something like Girl Next Door, this is an underdog movie. It was funny, great and has a lot and a lot of sexual innuendos. If you like this kind of soft-porn movie with a lot of hilarious laughs, this is the movie for you. This movie is so good that I actually watched this movie twice.

Charlie Logan (Dane Cook) is a great guy. When he was little, he was hexed by Anisha because he rejected her love. Fast forward to present, he is now a dentist. He’s funny, romantic, and really knows how to show his date a good time. Unfortunately for him, every girl that he dates somehow would just turn around and marry the next guy they met. This situation has earned him the nickname ‘Lucky Charm’ and he was swarmed even more with beautiful women than before. He finally met with Cam (Jessica Alba) and realized she was the one for him. His best friend, Stu is a plastic surgeon who mastered in breast implants found out that he was hexed.

Hilarious scenes involved because he does not want Cam to marry the next guy. After testing his curse with his friend to a really obese lady and she didn’t turn out to marry his friend, he was convinced that this is all in his mind. After he saw the fat lady actually getting engaged, he got frantic and did crazy stuff nearly driving Cam away.

He finally remembered that he was hexed by Anisha and went looking subsequently for her to reverse the spell. Unfortunately, the girl he once knew turned into a very nice lady and she said she never laid any curse on him. Heartbroken, he set Cam free and stayed away from the social circle. Stu came in one day to announce his marriage with a 3-breast lady and convinced Chuck to chase Cam back because she is leaving.

He finally managed to meet her and expressed his feelings for her. The scene ended with Anisha removing the needle from the voodoo doll with Charlie’s face plastered on the head.

The fun part is where all the topless show is all about. There’s this one scene where Stu with a disposable gloves actually examining the breast asked for Charlie’s opinion and it really freaked him out, despite being the lucky charm for so many ladies out there.

I admit that despite of so many blockbusters in 2007, this has to be one of the best and memorable up to date. Jessica Alba looked great being a plain Jane because I never liked her being one of those action heroes or being sexy. She looks good just by being your average next door girl.
