Expecting Answers

“I see stupid people. Walking around like regular people. They do dumb stuff. They only do what they need to do. They don’t know they’re stupid.”

One of the things that could really set off my temper is the fact that some idiot would ask me stupid question. So, it shouldn’t come as a surprise when I could actually snap at the guy who is asking me some really dumb question.

Idiot: “Er, customer is complaining the notebook battery life is only 30 minutes.”

Me: “Okay, if it’s more than a year, we do not replace the battery?”

Idiot: “Well, can I know?”

Me: “Simple, take a look at that 3 digit designation, 635 means it’s released on 2006 March the 5th.”

Idiot: “Oh okay, so when was it released?”

I gave him a very weird disapproving look.

Some of these idiots are so absent-minded that they have only 5-6 seconds of attention span before they start popping out weird and out of the world question. My guess is either these guys didn’t properly check with the customer or they somehow expected us to give them the answers.

Young kids these days really don’t have drive to actually learn up things by themselves.

Another idiot would be asking me what kind of travel supplies he needs when meeting the customer. I answered him: “Your brain.”
